Description

UW Club Baseball began in 1999 and joined the D1 National Club Baseball Association in 2003. Between the two teams, the club plays 15-25 games in the fall and around 50 total games in the spring. The teams also travel to Florida for spring training over spring break.
Internship Qualifications:

• Outgoing
  
• Interested in sports or passionate for baseball
  
• Communication skills
  
• Organized
  
• Motivated
  
• Familiar with Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite
  

Internship Duties:

• Assist in game day operations such as stat tracking or scoreboard operation (customizable)
  
• Create player tests/quizzes from instructional documents
  
• Assist in the fall tournament at Woodside Sports in the Wisconsin Dells
  
• Assist in the “Bring D1 Varsity Baseball back to UW” petition and efforts
  
  • Act as media coordinator to local/regional media outlets
    
  • Expand outreach network across the state for increased public support
    
  • Organize on-foot efforts for paper signatures at events
